and three miles to get to and from school so this

Year Secondary School education
Secondary
education in relation to a Kenyan salary is very expensive.
There
is no free secondary school and if you cannot pay for school
you cannot go. The children are desperate for an education
and really value it.

The
children appear to be happy walking about bare foot, however
when you give them a pair of shoes and see their smile
you realize what it means to them. Shoes are also necessary
to stop gigger worms burrowing into the children’s
