We are very grateful for our sponsors of all ages
A tremendous amount of £7,400 has been raised in Somerset by Sue and her team, June, Bethan , Eva, Megan …and many others who helped
This was achieved throughout the Summer months selling items donated, or from lost property from various caravan parks etc. …thank you for the time sorting, washing, ironing, mending, pricing and storing, throughout the year, we understand what an undertaking this is
An incrediable £272 was raised on bags of rags alone! (not suitable for selling).
Sponsorship of a child remains at £11 per month, because money like this is raised, this money ensures that all children receive a cup of porridge in the morning.
Also in Somerset the Thompson family attended the ACTS 20th anniversary stage show which raised a wonderful £863.00 for Educate the kids
ACTS has been wowing audiences over the years with West End shows such as Billy Elliott, Guys and Dolls, Miss Saigon, We Will Rock you, and Cats to name a few.
Senior ACTS past and present performed a selection of their most popular song-and-dance numbers at the Bridgwater Town Hall, and gave the proceeds to us!
Jake pictured above was a finalist in the outstanding young person of the year awards, partly for the wonderful charity work he has done on our behalf …and simply for being a wonderful kind young man
One of our new little sponsors Zac from Holmfirth who met the choir this year decided to do some fund raising at his birthday party …forgoing gifts and raised £120! ..thank you Zac what a difference these acts of kindness make
Please let me know of any fund raising that should be acknowledged …I know Dundee University have plans in place …thank you …let me know how things are progressing
