We’re so grateful for the continued support you provide to the school and our wider charity work. Your generosity has helped create a vibrant, nurturing space for learning—and your visits are a valued part of that journey.
As the school continues to grow, we’re implementing some updated visitor guidelines to ensure that safeguarding, educational continuity, and professional working conditions remain strong. We appreciate your understanding and support as we make these updates.
To help us maintain a safe and productive environment for all, we kindly ask that all visitors:
- Contact *Kombe Nzai* in advance to schedule your visit. He’ll liaise with the Headmaster to confirm a suitable time.
- Share the purpose of your visit ahead of time, so appropriate arrangements can be made without disrupting teaching.
- On arrival, sign in and out of the visitors’ book and remain at the entrance until an escort has been assigned.
- Stay with your designated escort throughout your time at the school.
- Kindly seek permission before taking any photos or videos.
- Ensure children are not removed from class without teacher approval. If children need to be supervised outside of class, Kombe or a staff member will be present.
We appreciate that returning sponsors may find some of these changes new, but we believe they represent responsible and thoughtful safeguarding practices.
A quick note on school operations:
While we are all volunteers, the school is a formal place of employment for the teachers and staff. They are dedicated, qualified professionals with full employment rights, and we ask that all instructions come from school leadership only. Suggestions and guidance are always welcome when offered respectfully, with cultural awareness in mind.
If you notice anything concerning during your visit, please speak directly with the school’s leadership team or the charity’s UK trustees.
Thank you again for everything you do—we truly couldn’t achieve this work without you. If you are planning a visit, or if you need Kombe’s contact details, just let us know. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
